Designed and implemented RPC and REST APIs in Java microservices to power new product features including extending Square Loyalty to the Square Invoices payment channel, launching Loyalty to international markets, and building public APIs for upmarket sellers.

Delivered Loyalty sales reporting and fraud detection by leveraging data pipelines and Snowflake data warehouse to aggregate data across microservices. Partnered with Legal to enforce data privacy compliance across backend services.
