Hi, I’m Ryan Brock — a product designer and hands-on creative leader. I design thoughtful products through experience design, UI design, and creative direction. 

My experience spans 0–1 product definition, iterating and expanding mature products, shipping web and mobile apps, designing embedded interfaces, and building design systems. I lead by doing; collaborating closely, mentoring when it’s helpful, and staying grounded in the craft. 

My process is curious, investigative, and iterative. With roots in graphic design and art direction, I’m at my best when brand, product, and systems thinking come together to create something clear, expressive, and genuinely useful. 

When I’m not designing, I’m making electronic music, exploring synthesizers, researching ecology, and traveling.

As Staff Product Designer, I worked with many cross-functional roles to establish a new and growing design team. I developed design systems and experiences for software, web, and touchscreen hardware devices for bio labs. I also led a large rebranding project in collaboration with the C-suite and worked with design in various departments to implement the brand vision.
