Led the Monetization product group at Yelp, ~30 PMs building products that drive the bulk of Yelp's >$1.4B annual revenue. We worked on:
• Yelp Ads: Yelp's native ad platform - including the core matching and auction stack, bidding/pacing algorithms, ad design and creative optimization, and our multi-channel Yelp Ad Network.
• Enterprise Products: unique ad placements and features for large advertisers, scalable API tooling + reporting, in-house and third-party ad measurement.
• Applied Machine Learning: partnered with teams across the organization to build great ML and LLM-driven products (e.g. classification models, ranking / recommender systems, conversational interfaces).
• Partnerships and Integrations: The Yelp Fusion API allows developers to leverage Yelp's unique data in their applications (with a helpful natural language interface) — supporting everything from car OS's to generative AI apps.

Hired and managed the Courier Pricing product team at Uber Eats.
My team was responsible for the pricing algorithms and courier app UX (e.g. Surge) that drove Eats' delivery marketplace. Our pricing stack managed $XB of annual spend across 20+ countries, with a wide range of business + regulatory models.
During my tenure, we made substantial improvements in both marketplace reliability and efficiency through new pricing mechanisms like ML-driven upfront offers. Delivered over $400M in annual savings through our launches — critical to Eats’ path to profitability in Q4’21.

Built out Yelp's cost per click ad product — now the company's primary revenue stream. Hired and managed the Ads and Applied Machine Learning product teams.
Our team developed across the ads stack: building Yelp's core search ad targeting + auction mechanics, pacing + bidding tech, integrations with external ad DSPs/measurement partners, and ad creative/UX systems.
