● Designed and implemented documentation to help transition developers that are familiar with Ruby and Javascript into Python and Java

● Designed a script to prevent cheating on coding challenges using the Page Visibility API

● Conducted technical screens of coding bootcamp applicants and assessed algorithmic aptitude in various languages, including JavaScript, Ruby, Python, and Java

● Guided web developer student applicants through practice technical interviews while assessing algorithmic thinking and providing constructive feedback

As the only Test Engineer, my primary duties were designing and carrying out tests for a variety of solar mounting products and R&D designs. Tests included mechanical load testing (tensile, compression, lateral load testing using an Instron/Pull Tester), water testing, and wind testing. Other duties included:

● Designed and tested a new Accessory Frame Clamp, and acted as Project Manager through its New Product Introduction process

● Creation of drawings and 3D CAD models of test components and products

● Analyzing failure modes and presented results to third party suppliers and partners

● Attained the proper certifications ensure any new product was 100% compliant with roofing and other codes and standards

● Designed and oversaw time trials of installations to compare the company's product with competitors

● Researched and wrote reports on emerging technology in the areas of active safety and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)

● Created databases for past safety data and anticipated release dates of new active safety technologies to compare Toyota’s performance against other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)

● Learned and implemented the 8 steps of Toyota Business Practices
