# Ryan Kelley > UIUX Design & Product leader Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/ryankelley I’m currently the Founding Designer at Tellescope a digital health SAAS company who brought me on to support and redesign their exiting product. My most recent role before Tellescope was as Lead UIUX Designer of Mochi Health where I started as the only designer and helped them grow to 100M+ ARR in less than two years where I eventually managed a team of several designers. I'm a design engineer equally comfortable working in Figma, VS Code, and Claude code, with a strong command of modern development workflows including React, Storybook, and full-stack deployment pipelines. One of my strengths is in my ability to have an impact anywhere from figma to rapidly prototyping in react/react native and meaningfully contributing to a codebase. In addition to my design work I've also designed and built several react and react native apps (frontend and backend) myself for various purposes, some of them can be found in my portfolio. ## Work Experience ### Founding Product Designer @ Tellescope Jan 2025 – Present | San Francisco, California, United States ### Lead UI/UX Designer @ Mochi Health Jan 2023 – Jan 2024 | San Francisco, California, United States Started as the only designer and grew to managing a team of 7 designers as our product grew. During this time I worked with junior designers to mentor, coach, and improve their research and design skills. I also led daily Design Standup and two week sprints. • Worked with product, engineering, leadership, and other business leaders to identify areas of improvement. Led the design team as we put together user stories, brainstormed and prototyped possible UX solutions, and validated ideas for delivery of new features. Assisted product in identifying requirements and writing detailed specs. • Led the design team and worked with front-end engineers to build and implement a unified design system of components and patterns across four distinct products. Successfully designed and implemented the patient after visit experience to generate more than 6,000 reviews on leading health tech authority sites. • Researched, designed, and built a medication refill request flow which involved the Patient, Admin, and Provider products to facilitate patient medication request and approval which dramatically reduced medication time to delivery. • Designed and built a portal allowing pharmacists to manage pharmacy inventory, batches, and orders. The portal successfully handles thousands of orders per day and has reduced medication time to delivery and operating costs significantly. • Led the team and contributed to the redesign of the Patient mobile application to become a patient acquisition channel in the form of a free user group who has the opportunity to purchase medication after tracking their health. ### UIUX & Product Consultant @ Ryan Kelley Design Jan 2023 – Jan 2023 | United States Conceptualized, designed, and built a variety of websites and web based platforms for various purposes and companies. Everything from a buffer-like tool to post to social media to complex order management systems and project management solutions used by internal teams of hundreds of people. • Led the design process from discovery and research to being the lead contributor on most projects. • Designed an educational content delivery solution with input from Caltech for schools, museums, and observatories. Backed by a CMS with customizable permissions for different levels of users, content can be organized and made accessible in several different ways including QR code for museums and observatories who host self guided guest tours. Now that I don’t consult I use the site to showcase physical products I sell for fun, currently I’m selling water bottles! ### Founder and UIUX Designer @ Screenmint Jan 2017 – Jan 2023 Marketing collateral management platform for internal teams. • Researched existing internal workflows and came up with design solutions to increase speed and productivity. • Prototyped and built customized collateral management portals. ### Chief Marketing Officer @ ClickUp Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | United States Marketing employee #1 responsible for the planning, execution, and budgeting of all digital marketing and social media activities for a new product management software product.
