Lessons learned from my formal education in design coupled with my previous work experience in Toronto and New York City have made me knowledgable in the areas of visual design and user experience design as well as frontend and backend development. Creating my own products for fun and for university has helped me realize that I’m most passionate about visual design and product design. As a result, I specialize in both areas of design and use my balanced knowledge of related practices and disciplines to inform my various design decisions.

As a curious and empathetic designer with technical knowledge, I am very keen on joining a dynamic and forward thinking organization where I can add value through a visual or product designer position.

As a Visual Design Intern, I worked closely with Tribal’s Visual Design Lead, Director of User Experience and User Experience Designers as well as DDB’s Strategists to conceive then execute the visual component of design solutions for some of the agency’s clients.

While working at Tribal, I made key design decisions when refreshing Investors Group’s brand language online, on tv and in print. I was also fortunate enough to design the homepage and six secondary pages of investorsgroup.com as well as an elaborate user experience document containing Tribal’s user research for the Investors Group account. When needed, I also acted as a photographer to address the agency’s clients’ various photographic needs.

### Design and Development Intern @ The Science Project

At The Science Project as a Design and Development Intern, I was responsible for quickly prototyping numerous web experiences using frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and designing wireframes of a content management system.

I was also very fortunate to work closely with senior engineer in order to develop a fundamental understanding of version control systems, Python, JavaScript, MVC concepts and CSS pre-processors.
