Worked closely with a team of geneticists and scientists, creating Python-based tools to enable them to access a database of genomic data and analyze it to detect preventable diseases in dogs.

This suite of tools included Python libraries for Redshift data access, AWS integration, and container orchestration, along with microservices and APIs for accessing large stores of genomics data for analysis in complex Jupyter notebooks.
