I led a full-stack UI redesign resulting in a 10x performance improvement.  This saved our collective user base 30+ hours a week, and reduced software complexity from 80k to 40k lines of code.

I developed a basic Android Application from scratch for Coverd, basing the design off of an existing iOS app.  This required me to solve problems independently as they arose, and to integrate with the already developed back-end server.

### Software Engineering Intern @ Pure Storage

I created an external backup storage solution working directly with VP of Technology.  It protected against a catastrophic failure pattern to increase data reliability.  I applied for a pending patent (US20170220464A1) for data archival and encryption methodologies.
