Full Stack Engineer working on an intelligent Insurance platform utilizing current web technologies. Focus is on the Node.js backend helping to integrate carriers into the platform, with exposure in our front end Vue.js UI's, external API development, and more.

### Senior Software Engineer @ Fox Optimization, Inc.
Jan 2020 – Jan 2020 | Reno, Nevada Area
Full stack engineer for a Reno based startup developing a web and mobile prescriptive scheduling SaaS product. Worked primarily in React and React Native using Typescript, as well as Python and PostgreSQL. Utilized Confluent Cloud for mobile push notifications, and AWS for SaaS deployment (primarily ECS/ECR and CF.) This was a very tight-knit team, with only myself and one other developer, working on consistent agile pushes of new features to our customers.

### Software Engineer III @ IGT
Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 | Reno, Nevada Area
Moved to a new wallet-based product currently in development. Participated in many
aspects of the product including, but not limited to, core platform development,
containerization and deployment, unit, functional, and end-to-end testing, as well as
high-level product discussions and backlog development and grooming, and UX
Wire-framing. Product was based in C# code (.NET core) with an Angular Front-end component.
Communication of API’s utilized both SOAP and REST. Deployment was done with
Docker, while deployment orchestration and building was done using Jenkins 2.

### Software Engineer II @ IGT
Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | Reno, Nevada Area
Software Engineer for IGT Systems Software. Focus on onboarding new
teammates and broadening knowledge of the product both in and outside of the team.
Extra focus on customer interactions and troubleshooting issues on the field including
Customer site travel. Participant in many facets of the product including core software
development, bug fixes, code reviews, documentation creation and review, as well as
feature, integration, and end to end testing. Heavy work on planning for strategic
integration of the product with other internal IGT products, and product grooming and
planning.

I work in an Agile development team for the IGT SQES (Software Quality Engineering Services) department.
