I am a product manager and design team manager at Cybozu, and currently based in Bay Area in California. Initially part of a small internal startup development team, I wore two hats as a designer manager and product manager. Our team started with less than 10 people, and I played a key role in the hiring process and team expansion, while simultaneously working on product requirements as a product manager.

Building an international development team with English as the primary language within a Japanese company has been challenging. Navigating time zones, cultural differences, and language barriers required dedication and hard work, but I am committed to making it successful.

As our team grew, so did my responsibilities. I gradually transitioned to focus more on product management and now oversee two products, working closely with business stakeholders to ensure their success. My role involves strategic planning, execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet market needs and exceed user expectations.

In my capacity as Design Team Manager, I lead a talented team of designers, fostering a creative and collaborative environment.
