As Modcloth grew, I became Acting Lead Interaction Designer and managed the practice-area backlog as well as the hiring of 8 IxDs, a Principal IxD, and a VP of Interaction. Designed the initial versions of Be the Buyer, ModCloth's crowdsourcing platform that tapped into its millions-strong community to help decide product inventory. Be the Buyer was one of the reasons that ModCloth was ranked Fast Company's 19th most innovative company of 2012. Significantly reduced drop-off and increased conversion by redesigning the checkout flow to allow for easier access to saved information and to reduce perceived complexity.
