- Delivered immediate impact by creating CLI tools used to automate engineering tasks in all subsequent alpha tests
- Enabled Discord account linking which assisted efforts by our community team and greatly reduced the number of Customer Service tickets generated by the previous method
- Complete overhaul of the Customer Service Portal used by agents to service user accounts:
    - Redesigned the look and feel of the site to make its use and navigation more intuitive 
    - Leveraged Elasticsearch to enable fuzzy searching accounts by email
    - Updated the authorization flow to enable RBAC with our accounts
    - Modular components created in this effort were used as examples of best practices

### Senior Software Engineer @ Wizards of the Coast

- Created a Go microservice for sending invitations to create an account with predefined permissions	
- Built a bulk registration feature that required UI design as well as considerable Go service and JavaScript/VueJS web client development
- Built a new UI page to support our segmentation service to the immediate acclaim from stakeholders and executives. Worked with the backend developer to ensure the UI created a positive user experience and accurately portrayed the abilities of the service
- Provided engineering support for Magic: Spellslingers and assisted teammates when ramping up on Perforce. Designed and implemented a script to dynamically convert selected Java objects into an XML file with specific formatting guidelines
- Refactored legacy code to make it more maintainable, modular, and flexible
- Created a generic batching and queue processing library backed by SQS 
- Implemented a complete overhaul of the look and feel of the transactional emails
- Lead a team of three engineers to move our self-hosted kafka cluster to a cloud-native service
