As the sole product designer at CancerIQ, I lead end-to-end design across the company’s digital products, shaping user experiences that support cancer risk assessment, prevention, and patient engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the full product design lifecycle—from discovery and research to wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define product strategy and translate complex healthcare requirements into intuitive user experiences
Conduct user research and usability testing with clinicians and patients to inform design decisions
Design scalable, accessible, and compliant interfaces aligned with healthcare standards (e.g., HIPAA considerations)
Establish and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across platforms
Balance business goals, user needs, and technical constraints to deliver impactful solutions
Advocate for user-centered design across the organization and influence product direction
