14+ years in distributed systems, mostly building the financial plumbing nobody thinks about until it breaks — billing engines, event pipelines, payment platforms. At Matterport, I led the platform processing $350M+ annually. Scaled it through 4x growth. Took payment success from 85% to 97%. The kind of work that's invisible when it goes right.
 
Outside of that, I have been deep in a problem that's bothered me for years — financial events flowing unmasked into systems, no audit trail, no way to reconstruct what happened when a billing dispute arrives at 2am. Built the infrastructure layer I wished existed: trusted event ingestion with PII masking at the boundary, immutable audit trail, full replayability. Something engineers can actually point to when someone asks "prove it."
