# Sairam Sreekant > Project Engineer Location: Fremont, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/sairamsreekant I recently completed my fourth year at Cal Poly Pomona and am pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. At Cal Poly Pomona, I’ve been able to gain experience while taking classes that are relevant to my field of study, like Mechatronics, Machine Design, Finite Element Analysis and more. I’ve also pursued my interests through extracurriculars like working on advanced projects like the Rocket Powered Lander Project where I am currently the Mechanisms Sub Team Lead. Leadership experience is something that I am always pursuing. As an RPL executive board member for over 2 years, I've accumulated skills in quick decision making, delegation, project managing and budgeting. In addition, as a Sub Team Lead, I've gained invaluable technical experience and direct industry collaboration opportunities. I have also accumulated experience in 3D printing (FDM and DLS), 3D printer maintenance, Laser Cutters, through my experience as an Engineering at Dicronite Southwest, a Lab Tech for the Architecture Department at Cal Poly Pomona, as well as Berbawy Makers during my time at Irvington High School in Fremont, CA. Over the span of my educational career, I have also learned how to use many CAD programs; programs as Solidworks, Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor, Zbrush, Meshmixer, Autodesk Inventor, Siemens NX, Autodesk Fusion 360, and more. I have great interest in subjects like robotics, engineering, and design. In my personal time, I've designed and built many projects: like a life sized version of MCU Thor's Stormbreaker, a Self-balancing platform (using an MPU6050 sensor, two SG90 servo motors, a PID controller, and control algorithms executed through an Arduino Uno controller), a single axis Inverted Pendulum System, and a Single handed controller. Overall, I'm always eager to adventure into new opportunities to advance my skills and apply all of my learnings in a fulfilling way! ## Work Experience ### Project Engineer @ Dicronite Southwest Jan 2025 – Present | United States After completing a successful internship at Dicronite Southwest during my time at Cal Poly Pomona, I transitioned into a full-time Project Engineer role.
