Key Responsibilities:
Property Inspection: Conduct detailed inspections of residential properties affected by fires to assess the extent of damage to structures, contents, and other assets covered by insurance policies.
Documentation Review: Review insurance policies, claim forms, and supporting documentation to understand coverage limits, exclusions, and other relevant terms.
Estimation: Utilize knowledge of construction materials, labor costs, and market rates to prepare accurate estimates for the cost of repairs, replacement, and restoration.
Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to property damage, including photographs, repair estimates, and inventory lists, to support claim assessments.
Communication: Communicate effectively with policyholders, insurance adjusters, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather information, address inquiries, and negotiate claim settlements.
Negotiation: Negotiate with subcontractors, vendors, and service providers to obtain competitive pricing for repair and restoration work while ensuring quality standards are met.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports, including damage assessments, cost estimates, and claim settlement recommendations, for review by insurance adjusters and other decision-makers.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to policyholders by offering guidance, support, and timely updates throughout the reconstruction process.
