I am a Software Engineer at Databricks working on internal applications - currently using TypeScript, Go, and GraphQL amongst other tools to create a best-in-class performance rating system.

Through my coursework I have developed a proficiency with Python and a deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms, both of which I utilized in work experience at IBM, Learn Ventures, and multiple MIT labs. I have worked extensively with UNIX-based systems developing object-oriented applications for use with internal APIs. While I consider back-end development my strength, I do not shy away from front-end development and have used Python and Qt more than once to develop GUIs that were put to use.

• Developed a data simulator for testing image registration, as well as a unit-testing suite for the company’s Starfish pipeline.
• Created, tested, and integrated Python-based image processing pipelines for reading and compiling cellular data from microscopic images.
• Designed and programmed virtual courses on computational neuroscience from scratch, focused on more efficiently bringing teaching to the online platform.

Bridging the gap between geo-spatial information and policy-makers, investors, accelerators in the Palestinian Innovation Ecosystem. Currently, leveraging D3 (Data-driven documents), Bubble, Tableau, Parabola.io, and Python to visualize and analyze data. Tasked with creating scripts in Python to import data from APIs, scrape data, and export data (using mostly REST API’s), part of a Team of 4 and provided input on the apps direction.
