### Engineering Practicum Intern @ Google
Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | Mountain View, CA
Worked on a logging system for an internal distributed data processing framework service. Built and tested data stream to tail changes occurring within the service, filtered out unnecessary data,  and partitioned data. Resulted in a 93% reduction in the search space. Reduced query latency from 2 to 3 hours to less than 10 seconds. Also, designed a new, more memory efficient API to read an internal log format.

### Engineering Practicum Intern @ Google
Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Mountain View, CA
Working with a team to prototype an internal tool that showed animations of Google Street View data. Designed and implemented a video encoder using FFMPEG that can encode MP4s, FLVs, and WebM videos. Worked with a team to incorporate CPU benchmarking tests to verify that it was servable over HTTP requests. Deployed the video recorder with a C++ based HTTP server that can handle video generation for different input requests.
