Shifting to full-stack engineering. ### Lead Software Engineer @ DraftKings Inc. Jan 2019 – Jan 2026 | Greater Boston Lead iOS engineer for Sportsbook Live Betting. Led the engineering side of the Sportsbook Incubation team. Build, shipping and experimenting with prototype features. Filed ten patents from our work. Started as an intern on Daily Fantasy Sports, moved to Sportsbook for a full app rewrite from Xamarin to Swifta ### Co-Founder @ GiveBee Jan 2017 – Jan 2020 | Notre Dame GiveBee is the first company that I founded with my friend Horacio Lopez. Set our own deadlines and goals, stayed motivated with no supervisor. Learned Swift and built two comprehensive mobile apps that were available on the App Store. Sampled various different web developing languages and published sites using Ruby and React. Knowing that the success of the venture depends solely on the work of Horacio and I was hugely rewarding. Exposure to all sides of running a small business gave us more experience than we had ever expected. ### Campus Editor @ LinkedIn Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | The University of Notre Dame Encouraged students to become more engaged in the LinkedIn community. Published my own content and met some amazing students from around the country. ### Software Developer @ Cerebreon Technologies Ltd Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | Donegal, Ulster, Ireland My first experience working as a software engineer with a company. Jumped in the deep end and built an internal expenses system using C# and JavaScript. Learned a lot from this early-stage startup and enjoying seeing their growth. Even though I lacked experience and knowledge, I appreciated the patience that the Cerebreon team had with me and hope I can pay it forward in the future. ### Assistant Librarian - Rare Books Collection @ Hesburgh Library - Notre Dame Jan 2016 – Jan 2017 Spent time in between classes working in the rare books and special collections of the Hesburgh Library at The University of Notre Dame, specifically with the Irish department. Honoured to work with spectacular books and other historic artefacts. A careful and detailed-oriented approach was required to complete tasks with such artefacts. Met some fantastic people, with vast amounts of knowledge in fields I was totally unaware of. A good way to stay aware of my ignorance. Balancing my heavy course load, social events and work taught me discipline and the importance of keeping a schedule. ### SEO and Data Entry Specialist @ MeanIT Web - Design & Development Jan 2013 – Jan 2016 MeanIT employed me multiple times throughout secondary school. Dipped my toe in the ocean that is SEO. Had my first taste of working in a tech company. ### Salesman @ Donegal Rapeseed Oil Company Jan 2015 – Jan 2015 Worked as a salesman for this company at multiple events during this time period. Gained confidence as a teenager selling products to adults. Spent a lot of time speaking with strangers and honed my networking skills.
