I am a full-time Mechanical Engineer currently designing robotically controlled medical devices at Intuitive Surgical. I have a large amount of experience with the engineering process and enjoy solving problems in creative ways.

I designed medical devices that are driven by a surgical robotic system.

To do this I work with a team of interdisciplinary engineers, ideating and getting advice from one another. I own critical subsystems that necessary for product success, taking them from concept, to 3D modeling and prototyping, to drawings that are then manufactured. All while working within requirements to make sure the end result is FDA approved.

I worked two separate summer internships at Auris Health.

During which I designed robotically controlled medical devices used for surgery. I self-managed to stay on schedule and prioritize tasks while also utilizing the team of interdisciplinary engineers I worked with to solve problems. The tasks I performed included
- Concepting and prototyping of numerous designs
- 3D modeling of said concepted designs
- Drawing creation and tolerancing for machinability
- Structural analysis of critical components

### Freelance Product Designer @ Iron Armour Group

I designed concept ideas the client had for patenting. These designs were then prototyped and tested on trial subjects by the client. After a round of testing I would worked with the client to make the desired modifications and improvements. 3D models were designed to be easy to change and manufacturable.

### Mechanical Engineering Intern @ VEX Robotics, Inc.

I worked with another engineer to design a variety of products sold to robotic organizations. The following types of parts were designed: plastic injection molding, machined metal, metal sintered, and sheet metal. Parts were prototyped and then designed with extensive thought put into manufacturing them. In total I personally designed 6 unique products and worked on a multitude of others to some degree.
