As the team lead for the software engineering equipment team, I'm responsible for both guiding a small team of software engineers and working on, facilitating, and driving projects forward. The equipment team works with IoT devices and the processing and user interaction with their data through our products.
I have put together many design and architectural solutions to integrate new IoT devices and make data pipelines more effective and efficient. This includes adapting processing to work with new data protocols, building new processing services to ingest data from a dynamic range of devices, and developing 3D interfaces to customize layouts of machines for interpretting data within python and typescript.
