As a full-stack software engineer specializing in back-end development, application architecture, and scalable web applications, I’m passionate about solving complex problems at scale. My work with the Benefits and Disability Team at the VA (through Oddball) has allowed me to contribute to impactful projects that serve hundreds of thousands of Veterans daily. Most recently, I designed and led the implementation of a "Safety Net" ensuring 100% failure coverage for the 526 Benefits Disability Compensation form within our scope of the larger VA ecosystem.

With over 9 years of full-stack web development experience, I’ve had the opportunity to create, contribute to, and optimize web applications of varying scales and description. While I’m interested in many modern technologies, I’m particularly passionate about Ruby on Rails, with a focus on performance optimization, scaling, robust failure prevention, and adherence to software engineering best practices.
