During my internship at ANL, I provided technical support for the DOE’s Technology Integration Program, focusing on the deployment of alternative fuel vehicles to reduce petroleum use. I played a key role in developing and integrating advanced features in the AFLEET Online tool using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Svelte. My contributions included dynamic data handling, user input management, and implementing a new copy/paste functionality. Additionally, I designed and implemented a robust testing framework using Vitest for unit testing and Playwright for end-to-end application testing, ensuring high reliability and performance of the application across multiple platforms. This experience enhanced my skills in software development, testing, and systems integration, and reinforced my ability to deliver innovative solutions in a research-driven environment.
This work was supported in part by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Science, Office of Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientists (WDTS) under the Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships (SULI) program, mentored by Andrew Burnham.
