When I'm not building great products, you can probably find me in a meditation pose or on a trail for some barefoot running.

I have a track record of building successful products from 0 to 1. I have done this for private tech companies with millions of users, public companies like Ford and Impinj, and government organizations like Santa Clara County Housing Authority. At Food Connect, I hired and managed a team of 6 remote engineers across multiple time zones. We built an amazing and well designed cross-platform product for consumers (Graphql API, iOS, Android, desktop web). We also built internal tooling to streamline operations and logistics. Our thoughtful approach to product and engineering led to 10x in volume and 100k+ meals donated per month during the pandemic (still growing 40% YoY).

Led full stack cross-platform team in developing logistics software for meal donations— across backend, GraphQL API, iOS/Android/desktop web client.

Recruited and managed remote team of 6 engineers. Created a high-performance culture with a focus on velocity and code quality.

Co-authored paper "Tech Led Solutions to Address Food Insecurity during a Global Pandemic" in peer reviewed journal from Johns Hopkins University.

Ford/Ideo— Developed consumer facing application to pilot concept for autonomous urban deliveries. Launched in a large residential community in San Francisco.

Santa Clara County Housing Authority— Developed a portal for low-income individuals to apply for affordable housing in the Bay Area. Application handled high throughput and large spikes in traffic.

Leafly Business— Created and architected a B2B SaaS data analytics tool for a publishing company with millions of monthly users and high volume of analytics data.

Architected, developed, and tested the backend. Technology used:

- Ruby on Rails backend w/ Postgres, Redis, and Elasticsearch
- GraphQL as the API layer
- Relay and React on the front-end

Owned Product & UX decisions for a SaaS tool that works across all devices (desktop, mobile, and tablet). Created a human centered design process at the company where we performed contextual inquiry and user interviews to gain insight into user behavior. Created wireframes, low-fidelity mockups, and tested usability of features.

Validated business model and grew company to profitability.

Architected  and developed a  web  application  that  when  given  a  question  attempts  to  answer  through  a  combination  of  web  scraping and crowdsourcing.

Developed  backend  from scratch including  data  model,  server  side  scraping,  integration  with  Mechanical  Turk  API,  deployment  with  DigitalOcean,  and  web  annotation  feature.

Platform served as the basis for a paper published in CHI.
