An Accountant turned Software Engineer. Simply put, Accounting is organizing and sorting information according to a set of rules to yield reports that can be easily understood and utilized by users. Software Engineering is the development of systems and software to yield products for users. The biggest difference between the two is the freedom of innovation. To be able to create something of the client's specification but still having the freedom to apply my innovations when applicable is what makes being a Software Engineer special.
