ENGINEERING
I'm looking for a team where most code is written by more than one person. There is a high level of sharing work and celebrations. I work in person with other people closely enough to learn about how they read and write code. I can easily take their desires into account when working. There are very few knowledge silos. I am able to focus on software quality and modifiability because I have product managers and designers who have a pretty strong idea of what they want built, and who are able to take engineering constraints that I explain to them into account.

TEACHING
I have a long history of tutoring, lecturing, and pair programming with people of all ages. I can help with everything from the basics of how to give instructions to computers, to advanced skills for learning new tools and designing well organized, professional code. I'm excited to explore the direction my students are most interested in. The technologies I am most familiar with are Go, iOS and Java. I have also tutored people learning Ruby, Python, Javascript, Scratch, Matlab, the Spring framework, and Android.
