Horizontally scaling Illumio’s core product, the Policy Compute Engine, as part of Supercluster initiative.

Worked on variety for projects for the Core Platform Services group. Main responsibilities included extracting microservices out of the monolithic application, developing scalable APIs for mission critical systems and application performance tuning.

• Responsible for extracting documents management into its own microservice out of monolithic application. Lead the effort in moving functionality to new microservice without interruption.

• Responsible for development and maintenance of fault tolerant email delivery service.

• Built scalable APIs in Ruby on Rails.

• Tuned application to reduce the load the Postgres database.

Worked as a full stack engineer on various product verticals ranging from Goals, Reviews, and Real Time Feedback developing core functionality.
