I help HCL Technologies retain its reputation for a culture of innovation and customer focus by facilitating client-centric design of technologies that include cloud, automation, and data security solutions.
PROMOTED FROM: Consultant (01/2014 – Present), Associate Consultant (08/2012 – 01/2014), Sr. Systems Specialist (08/2011 – 08/2012)
I supervised a 7-member team to assure that my client’s ETL data loads 150TB database is at its peak performance while devising strategies to reduce operational costs. In one instance, I initiated a rolling upgrade to establish a disaster recovery site for cluster nodes, reducing business downtime from 8 to 2 hours.
I also took several measures to recover lost or damaged data caused by unanticipated incidents. For example, I recovered 1 TB of data within 2 hours after a human error and took complete ownership. Following the event, I placed strict data management controls, redefined database access levels, and automated monotonous tasks.
While undertaking process improvement projects to streamline storage, reduce license costs, and create recovery strategies, I placed great emphasis on the customers’ input and worked on multiple solution iterations until the client was pleased, resulting in 100% customer satisfaction.
