I build AI products and platform infrastructure at WhatsApp scale.

For the last three years, I've shaped what gets built and why for consumer AI features serving 2+ billion daily users. My work sits at the intersection of complex engineering systems and user-centric outcomes: defining product requirements for novel AI architectures, designing multi-layered validation systems for privacy and safety, and building evaluation frameworks that translate domain expertise into measurable benchmarks.

A great example: bringing private processing for AI tools to WhatsApp's E2EE messages by building on a Trusted Execution Environment, navigating the trade-offs across product, engineering, policy, and legal.

A problem I'm focused on now: agentic workflows where the real product challenge isn't the LLM's raw capability, but the space between that capability and the user experience. Matching tone. Maintaining safety. Getting the interaction right at scale.

Before WhatsApp, I spent 12+ years building technology products across databases, high-performance compute, and enterprise infrastructure at Oracle and Sun Microsystems.

Outside of work, I led fundraising and strategy at Humans for AI, focused on increasing participation of women and underrepresented groups in AI. I also directed Asha for Education's Silicon Valley program for 8 years, raising $0.5M and supporting 400+ children through college and vocational programs.
