I’m a passionate software engineer with 3 years of professional experience. Big believer in hard work and the power of programming to transform and improve the lives of people around us.

I started my career with Barclays where I worked on building event-driven, micro-services for Fraud Detection and Identity Verification. As the lead developer for Instant ID verification feature, I helped in slashing 60% of fraudulent cases during the new customer acquisition phase. I joined Skeps, a block-chain-based startup in consumer lending space. I created Rest APIs in Java and node.js and executed Quorum smart contracts. Through multi-threading, remodeling DB schemas, and indexing, I speeded existing APIs by 300% leading to ten folds increase in daily loan processing capacity. These experiences imparted me a strong foundation in design principles, OOPs concepts, and clean code practices. 

My current master’s program and two internships during this summer has further deepened my fundamentals especially in distributed and scalable systems. I keep myself active with research work (published 2 papers) and side projects in deep learning, GAN, NLP, game development, etc. Currently, I'm working as a Research Assistant in the FICS Lab at UF.
