My most recent work at Facebook focused on Spatial AR/VR frameworks and Vandalism Detection / Integrity Enforcement of community/third-party spatial data sets.

Before that, I worked on Machine Learning APIs and Libraries targeted at real-time online learning and prediction in high QPS servers. Prior to that I have worked in Geospatial Indexing, Maps and Location Aware Search Infrastructure for Facebook Infra. I created Loki - FB's scalable Geospatial Indexing backend that powers Reverse Geocoding, Ads, Marketplace, Job Search etc.

As Principal Architect, Platform, my responsibilities included design and development of an IT Managment PaaS that combines an endpoint fabric and cloud services to securely manages presence and bi-directional communication with millions of managed devices, a multi-tenant cloud compute platform for deploying IT monitoring and management related workflows (leveraging Kafka, Storm and Hadoop) via JavaScript recipes (a la IFTTT) that respond to incoming sensor data from the managed devices.
