Design and product leader working on human-centered emerging technology.

At IDEO, I help teams building on frontiers like AI/ML, robotics, XR, and new hardware navigate 0→1 by shaping product direction when the technology is new, the interaction model is unclear, and the category is still forming.

My work sits between UX, product strategy, and applied research. I help organizations decide what to build, how it should behave, and why it matters, turning research, prototyping, and technical capability into clear product direction. I work closely with engineers, researchers, and product leaders, and specialize in collaborations with major technology and electronics companies.

Previously, I co-founded Moringa School, a network of technology education schools across Africa that has graduated over 20,000 people, and I partnered with Dr. John Gottman to apply emotion AI to help couples have better relationships. I began my career as a software engineer.

I’ve spoken at SXSW, the Fast Company Innovation Festival, MIT Media Lab, and Harvard, delivered international keynotes, created interactive emerging technology museums, and published widely on the future of design and technology. My work has been recognized by MIT, Forbes, and the World Economic Forum.

Most importantly, I have a habit of uncontrollably cry-laughing at incredibly random things.

Led product, design, and user research for emotion AI products in collaboration with Dr. John Gottman, applying affective AI to mental health and relationships.

Worked closely with engineering and leadership teams to define product direction, interaction models, and market considerations through Series A.

Co-founded and led product, design, and technology for a pan-African network of tech schools (data science, software engineering, etc.), designing foundational curriculum, platforms, and instructional systems and scaling to multiple countries.

Moringa has graduated over 20,000 learners into technical careers, partnering with global employers and institutions.
