I am a Software Engineer with a passion for embedded and mobile development. I have 2 years experience working in full stack and mobile development. Additionally I am a Signal Support Specialist Squad Leader in the US Army Reserve, where I have experience leading a section of 5 people to provide and manage communication capabilities for battalion sized elements in fast paced rapidly changing environments. I strive to use my technical knowledge and leadership capabilities to create products that have a net positive on people's lives in the longterm.

At Element Science, I work with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and clinicians to develop micro-services, frontend applications, mobile applications, and test suites for the company's flagship product, a wearable defibrillator that monitors and treats cardiac arrhythmias. I have strong experience with Python, Swift, Flutter & Dart, Javascript, Postgres, and more. I always strive to continue learning new tools, languages, and principles.

As a Signal Support Systems Specialist, I maintain vital signal support systems and terminal devices; the equipment that needs to consistently work in order for commanders to stay informed, track, and direct the movement of their troops. I perform signal support and technical assistance for computer systems, local area networks, and perform maintenance on equipment, terminal devices, power generators, and vehicles. I also detect enemy signals and jam enemy radio transmissions.

### UCSC Senior Engineering Project Team Member @ Nutanix

In the winter and spring quarter I was a part of a four person team led by a Nutanix Senior Engineer. Together we researched ransomware and identified signals that could be used to detect a ransomware attack. We then created software that combined multiple signals from VMs into one alert system using both ruled based algorithms and machine learning. This software was designed to be applied to a cloud system, sitting on the hypervisor level.
