360 video, virtual reality news storytelling

The New Media Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab Spring 2017 will be focusing on 360 video and virtually reality for news storytelling. I have been assigned to lead a few 360 video projects for the semester including the NCAA College Basketball tournament fan experience in Phoenix and a 360 Arizona hiking trails app. The lab is partnering with the NCAA for 360 coverage of events. I will also be photographing a light pollution project in northern and southern Arizona for a documentary.

The lab meets two times a week from 9am-5pm. It is part of the professional programs at ASU's Walter Cronkite Journalism school.
