I have 8+ years of professional, full life-cycle web development. My favorite projects have been working with payment platforms, infrastructure as code, and thinking about how to improve website traffic, conversion rates, revenue, shipments, and returns. I enjoy planning, system design and architecture, creating documentation, instilling good practices in code reviews, writing code and being a team leader.

In 2015, I thru hiked the 2,200-mile Appalachian Trail, from Georgia to Maine, where I met my wife.

### Senior Software Engineer @ Hyperice
Jan 2022 – Present | Boston, Massachusetts, United States
• Expanded customer payment options: Adyen payment platform and Sika Health for capturing FSA/HSA payments resulting in 20% increase in website revenue.
• Managed a web application solution that uses Contentful headless CMS, Next.js, Commercetools Order Management System, and AWS Lambdas, API Gateway, and SQS all built with Serverless (infrastructure as code).
• Built a User-Generated Content service that gave company insights into customer sentiment with regards to their products and services, resulting in improved customer satisfaction and product improvements.
• Ecommerce improvements with email service provider (ESP) that improved customer retention with checkout abandonment and product back-in-stock emails, resulting in capturing lost purchase opportunities.

• Designed a .NET Core application that sent emails with FedEx return shipping labels to customers that automated a manual process for customer service team members and reduced the process by 90%.
• Contributed major checkout features to e-commerce website that used React & Redux on frontend and .NET framework as an API middle-layer that connected to MySQL database in our AWS cloud services.
• Worked across multiple departments to create an e-signature solution for medical records. This project involved launching an integration in our Microsoft Dynamics CRM system, helped our service team automate their workflows on returned products, and was essential to launching new medical products to market.

• Designed two-factor authentication and identity proofing processes for e-prescribing website per DEA-regulations.
• Worked extensively on an enterprise application including production fixes for stored procedures that ran four times faster and increased backend performance, resulting in improvements in doctors accessing prescriptions. 
• Built an e-prescribing RESTful API web service using .NET Core and Code-First Entity Framework that was deployed on Azure, used by 100,000 medical practices across the United States.
• Lead development on .NET framework e-prescribing application and mentored new hires from topics ranging from responsive user interfaces, git version control, and database design.
