Marina del Rey, California, United States
Current graduate student AI researcher and project lead
Leading AI research projects in collaboration with USC faculty as part of an LLM project, an initiative focused on democratizing access to academic research. Currently developing tools and infrastructure to simplify the publishing process for researchers, enhance the discoverability of their work globally, and streamline reading experiences through intelligent summarization and retrieval—ultimately helping amplify the visibility and impact of scholarly contributions worldwide.
Managing a cross-disciplinary team of engineers and researchers to design, develop, and deploy AI solutions using Python, C++, and TensorFlow. Responsibilities include project planning, task delegation, technical oversight, and integration of machine learning models into scalable systems. Collaborating closely with domain experts to translate research goals into production-ready tools and infrastructure that support real-world academic and industrial applications.
Spearheading the integration of machine learning models into autonomous systems by bridging the gap between research and deployment. Designing end-to-end pipelines for training, validating, and deploying models in real-time environments. Leveraging techniques in computer vision, sensor fusion, and control systems to enable intelligent perception and decision-making within robotic platforms. Collaborating with robotics engineers to ensure seamless integration into ROS-based architectures and simulation frameworks.

I am on the Netezza team at IBM. Netezza empowers data engineers, data scientists, and data analysts to run complex workloads without additional ETL or data movement. It uses AI-infused elastic scaling to enable workload efficiency and cost predictability in the cloud, at a massive enterprise scale.
Work in an agile, collaborative environment across software architecture, understanding both front-end and back-end concerns, while specializing in the back-end. Currently working with client-server architectures, networking protocols, application development, and databases.
Currently use and develop RESTful APIs and web services and work to meet user and system requirements for the Netezza data replication team at IBM
Create cloud software using object oriented programming, multi-threading and concurrency. I currently plan, analyze, design, and construct databases to implement industry standards and best practices for database security that is capable of analyzing and defining database and information security requirements.
Creating structured query language (SQL) queries, back-end database stored procedures, or NoSQL queries. Working with programming languages like Ruby, Python, Java, C++, Node.js, server-side JavaScript.

Software Engineering Trainee:
Participated in Google Developer Academy, an internal boot camp program to help Google employees develop a technical foundation transition to software engineering roles. Successfully completed 10 months that involved completing 36 full-stack assignments and 4 group projects focused on fullstack, backend, front-end, infrastructure, site reliability, machine learning, and embedded software engineering and technical program management training.
The Google Developer Academy (GDA) is a training program within Google that is designed to train non-software engineers to become software engineers. The program is broken into 2 parts of which you must apply for and get into separately (Pre-GDA & GDA).
Pre-GDA:
• 16 week intensive coding bootcamp
• CS 101 & CS 102 curriculum
• Learning Java
• Data structures and algorithms in Java
GDA
• Highly selective training program
• Learn internal frameworks
• Build full-stack applications
• API development using RPCs
• Unit testingThe Google Developer Academy (GDA) is a training program within Google that is designed to train non-software engineers to become software engineers. The program is broken into 2 parts of which you must apply for and get into separately (Pre-GDA & GDA).
