Remote Intervention & Teleguidance
As Design lead I was involved in overseeing the design teams efforts in developing user interfaces, hardware components, and software algorithms that enable robots to navigate, interact with their environment, and perform tasks autonomously.
These roles focused on combining expertise in robotics, human-machine interaction, human factors research experiments and user-centered design to create safe, efficient, and user-centric autonomous robotic solutions.
Milestones:
Lead generative research and design for each minimal viable product (MVP) version of a remote Human Machine Interface (HMI) designed for teleguidance of autonomous robotics which focused on essential features for effective remote control and monitoring. Some of the Key components of the MVP included: Control Inputs, Status Indicators, Map Display & Bathymetery, Emergency Stop, Responsive UI, Latency Management, User Feedback and UX tracking, User Authentication and Real-Time Video Feed.
Saildrone’s Mission Control & Motional’s Remote Vehicle Assistance products have successfully launched on time and Gatik’s is currently in the process of deployment.

As a Product Designer for consumer SaaS products specializing in crafting user experiences for platforms connecting two distinct user groups, such as travelers and boutique hotel managers.
These roles involved creating intuitive interfaces, user flows, and features that cater to both sides of the marketplace equation by leveraging research of users to provide tangible marketplace value.

Some of the skillsets required leveraged my expertise in game mechanics, user interfaces, and player engagement to create captivating and immersive gaming experiences that resonated with players.
