I worked with key players in this agile startup to create the MVP mobile app to interface with the company's washer and dryer units. The app has since launched on both Apple and Android devices. • Designed the MVP for Tumble’s first modern laundry mobile app interfacing with custom washing machines. • Worked on a small, agile team in a 4-week design sprint. • Produced wireframes, layouts, and collaborated with development team. https://tumble.to/ ----------------------------------------------------------- Client: Birdnest | Website | 3 week design sprint | March 2019 Birdnest is a private office space provider in the San Francisco Bay Area. They support new and expanding small businesses in finding the right office space tailored to their needs and likings. We were brought on to the project to research and design a new approach for users to share their preferences with Birdnest, and in turn view the most applicable results. We hypothesized that this would reduce initial office search friction and lead to less in-person office tours before the customer signs on to a new office space. • Collaborated on a team of 3, in an agile, 3 week design sprint. • Conducted user research with 21 users and 8 field study participants. • Created wireframes based on research and feedback on concept sketches. • Facilitated usability testing with 6 test participants. • Designed hi-fi comps in Sketch and prototyped in Invision. https://thebirdnest.co/ ### Product Designer @ TeamMate AI Jan 2017 – Jan 2019 | Oakland, CA TeamMate is a digital reflection of users’ athletic lives, a conduit of communication to the health and fitness industry, and a smart social discovery tool that learns how to identify and match optimal training partners according to each user’s preferences, progress, and athletic evolution. The TeamMate Network reorients the fitness industry within a new decentralized peer-to-peer focused, open ecosystem. • Produce and execute UX and UI design concepts for mobile app in the health/fitness industry. • Oversee ideation and feature prioritization for MVP of TeamMate 2.0 app. • Facilitate feedback tests from users & advisors to iterate & refine design. • Produce hi-fi mockups in Sketch and generate prototype in InVision. • Utilize Zeplin for core design communicated with developers. • Manage needs for icon design of with graphic designer reporting to me as the project lead. • Collaborate closely with a multi-functional team of 10 in an agile startup atmosphere. From asking questions or discussing trends to meeting people or engaging followers, HashChat makes a hashtag the custom URL for any discussion. Responsibilities include the building, structuring, and updating the user interface. Providing organized sketch files with fluid components and styles. Delivering updates on schedule. Ensuring all product and web design is updated in Invision. Research ideas for pitch-deck and provide suggestions. This position taught me how to thoroughly design and organize Sketch files, utilizing symbols and text styles to maximize efficiency in editing and collaborate with other team members.
