These recordings were automatically logged to Salesforce. • Contributed to the rebuilding of our Dialer product to use a new state management paradigm. This greatly simplified our state management, making it more stable and robust. • Fully re-implemented several of our legacy UI’s using React/Redux/Redux-Saga. ### Software Engineer @ ZOZI Jan 2014 – Jan 2017 | San Francisco, CA Designed and built features using Rails, ReactJS, AngularJS, and Elasticsearch, ranging from complex B2B dashboards to e-commerce checkout flows. • Built the product setup wizard for our rentals product. This involved building a user-friendly UI that made it easy for merchants to enter complex business and pricing rules for their rentals. • Revamped our Elasticsearch implementation to handle new types of products imported from our B2B platform. This included adding geo-search to our product search feature. • Developed a real-time checkout feature for activities and rentals. This pulled availability and pricing data from our B2B platform and displayed that information in our B2C marketplace. • Cut average page load time by 50% on our B2C site via caching, better SQL, and fewer assets. • Led the project to migrate our frontend build to Webpack. We were able to reduce the initial Javascript bundle by 1 MB for our checkout iframe. ### Software Engineer @ Bountysource Jan 2013 – Jan 2014 I worked as a full-stack web developer at Bountysource, a funding platform for open-source software. I had the opportunity to build several client-facing features in Rails and AngularJS, while finding ways to increase the robustness of our code base. • Implemented a Javascript unit testing suite. This involved serving compiled assets to Jasmine and leveraging Require.js to load test fixtures. • Upgraded the entire frontend application to Bootstrap 3 and Angular 1.2. This involved massive updates to the application to address breaking changes. • Ported the internal admin site from an in-house Javascript framework to AngularJS • Designed and built the data model for the Request-for-Proposal feature, which allowed developers to submit work proposals to managers of open source projects • Built a natural language, type-ahead search using the Sphinx search engine • Organically sorted open-source issues for GitHub organizations base on their members’ activity, which was pulled from the GitHub events API • Code reviewed and gave feedback on pull requests from other Bountysource developers ### Senior Legal Assistant @ Sanford Heisler, LLP Jan 2011 – Jan 2013 Sanford Heiser, LLP is a public-interest law firm that specializes in civil rights and public interest litigation and represents employees with claims of employment discrimination, labor and wage violations, predatory lending, whistleblower, and consumer fraud.
