Hello! My name is Sebastian. I’m passionate about building and fine-tuning AI-data systems, and I enjoy using data in all its forms to support decision-making, uncover patterns, and drive innovation across different technologies.

I’ve always been a creative storyteller. As a kid, I looked forward to writing hour in elementary school, seeing it as a chance to explore my imagination freely. Around the same time, I fell in love with basketball. I was fascinated by the precision required for a clean shot and the constant stream of decisions that defined the game. My curiosity for technology also started early. I would beg my parents for the newest iPod or Nintendo DS, then spend hours researching how they worked and what made them revolutionary.

Today, I’m a Forward Deployed Engineer at Labelbox, where I build and maintain data pipelines, automate workflows, and ensure data quality to power high-performing AI systems. I thrive on bringing creative and analytical thinking together to solve real-world problems, whether that means uncovering structure in complex data, improving infrastructure, or making data more accurate, scalable, and impactful.

I often reflect on how these threads come together. From the kid who loved writing and basketball to the builder of intelligent systems, each step has shaped how I approach data science. I see data not just as information, but as a way to tell stories, understand systems, and make meaningful decisions that move people and products forward.
