At Microsoft Ignite 2025, my team launched the next generation of the Azure IoT Platform, a cornerstone of the Azure ecosystem connecting 50M+ devices across 25+ global regions. Our launch included:
(1) Certificate Management for IoT - a new Azure service that automates X.509 orchestration for at-scale IoT deployments.
(2) Azure Device Registry - a 1P integration that projects IoT devices as ARM resources in Azure, enabling Azure Resource Graph (ARG), RBAC, tagging, and policy.
Some areas of my ownership included:
• Feature Development: Championed key configuration and runtime workflows, including user onboarding, device provisioning, certificate lifecycle management, and device-to-cloud connectivity.
• Developer Experience & Tooling: Ownership of the end-to-end user journeys across the Azure Portal, CLI, ARM templates, SDKs, and APIs, focusing on reducing time-to-market for IoT developers.
• Partner Enablement: Collaborating with 1P (Azure) and 3P partners (Enterprise, ISVs, and SIs) to build integrated solutions that align with the rigorous demands of global commercial ecosystems.
• Go-To-Market: Leading initiatives across monetization and billing, regional expansion, and high-impact marketing (technical blogs, live demos, and comprehensive documentation).
