Indus OS is an Android Based Operating System customized to cater to a vernacular audience of first time smartphone users in the language of their choice. 

Worked on the OS' default Messaging Application to design and implement services(Cab Booking, Food Delivery) as context-aware chatbots in regional languages. 

Worked on building a free messaging chat service, much like Apple's iMessage. Used a polling based client-server architecture with WebSockets to send and receive messages.

I worked on scaling the process of creating an Automated Demand Forecasting System that predicted dynamic customer demand based on factors such as Holidays, weather, sales etc.

The process was optimized to run in 71 minutes for 5800 stores, where it took 6 hours for 40 stores. This was done by parallelizing the process using Hadoop technologies like Hive and Spark.

The entire pipeline was automated using Oozie and shell scripting
