Hi👋 I’m Seira - a bilingual product and web designer based in San Francisco.
I specialize in crafting user-centered, culturally thoughtful digital experiences with a strong foundation in accessibility, UX/UI design, and front-end principles.

I'm currently working as a Product/UX Designer at IPMD, where I design experiences that bring emotional intelligence into technology. By leveraging RESTful APIs and the EchoAI mobile app, I help deliver real-time emotional insights—transforming how humans interact with machines through empathy-driven design.

In addition to my work in product design, I’m also the founder of Cozy Corner Design — a small, bilingual web design studio that helps businesses build multilingual websites that connect Japanese and English-speaking audiences. From branding to UX strategy and WordPress development, I support small businesses, creatives, and consultants in creating websites that feel welcoming, clear, and culturally sensitive.

At IPMD, we are redefining the future of human-machine interaction through emotionally intelligent AI. Our proprietary IEAI™ platform delivers real-time emotional understanding via a RESTful API and a consumer-facing mobile app, EchoAI™, empowering industries like telemedicine, HR, and wellness to connect with users on a human level.

As a Senior Product Designer, I lead the design of both B2B and B2C experiences, merging UX strategy with empathy-driven design to bring emotional awareness into technology. My work spans:

• Designing end-to-end user experiences for EchoAI™ (B2C), a mobile app for emotional self-reflection and insight.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, CEO, marketing) to shape product vision and ensure consistency across platforms.

• Driving UX research, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual systems for scalable, human-centric interfaces.

• Redesign membership pages to help improve enrollment of mental health professionals

• Restructure workshop pages for a more streamlined user experience

### UX Design and Front-End Development Apprenticeship @ Bloc

• Executed UX and UI design process from concept to delivery of the project to create a family collaboration mobile app for a centralized resource for a busy family
• Used Google Forms and interviews with 40+ potential users to identify pain points and opportunities to optimize the mobile app's experience
• Created a design system of 30+ components that reduced technical debt for both designers and engineers

• Designed and built a versatile garden bench that made it possible for the elders with disabilities to continue gardening
• Worked closely with 50+ elders and visited multiple senior centers and homes to design a product that won a 3rd place award at the Stanford Design challenge
