Before my time at Amazon, I was the lead designer for health tech software and test kits for 200,000+ users at JISEKI Health and designed in the cloud storage and logistics industry for all three sister companies Corodata, Corovan, and Boxbee. ## Work Experience ### Senior Product Designer @ Yale and August U.S. Jan 2024 – Present ### Senior Product Designer @ One Medical Jan 2023 – Jan 2024 • Led UserTesting research, design, and helped create product strategy for new and reimagined features that supports 836,000+ customers. • Improved customer retention by implementing location-specific service education during account creation, ensuring members have accurate expectations regarding the services available in their respective locations. • Enhanced clinical software features for the member-facing services team, enabling them to efficiently perform actions on behalf of members in need of assistance. ### UX Designer II, Chime Meetings @ Amazon Jan 2022 – Jan 2023 As a UX Designer on the team, I created and revamped features for Chime, an Amazon mission-critical app serving 774K active weekly worldwide users, 60M meetings per month, and saving Amazon $30M per year in licensing fees for external substitutes. Key Accomplishments: • Led design strategy and prototyping for an evolving collaborative mobile self-service app, empowering users to schedule tasks, prioritize work, and access role-specific training with the help of generative AI to improve employee satisfaction and productivity. • Enhanced virtual meeting security, remote collaboration, and accessibility by leading the design of a new meeting waiting room experience for mobile, web, and dial-in clients. • Collaborated on Chime’s design system migration to Figma, reducing our tool stack from 4 paid software subscriptions to 1 and saving $14K per month on productivity. • Established regular lunch and learn sessions with the design team to discuss design-related topics ranging from new trends in the space, prototyping best practices and techniques, and introducing Figma to those new to the tool. ### UX Designer I, Global Health Technology @ Amazon Jan 2022 – Jan 2022 As the team's sole UX Designer, I led the research and redesign of the Return to Work Tool, an internal Amazon platform leveraged by 13K internal users that enabled work for over 100K associates annually. Key Accomplishments: • Drove $43.3M in lost wage avoidance and increased Net Promoter Score by 10 points through the design overhaul of the tool’s experience. • Averted 1560 lost time incidents by implementing a new job-matching experience, allowing users to find meaningful work for injured associates. • Decreased associate’s average Days Away from Work (DAW) from 42 days to 28 days by streamlining the manual entry of employee information, automating 11 fields and eliminating 32+ clicks. ### UX Designer @ JISEKI Health Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 • Provided affordable and quick virtual healthcare services for 120,000+ users by designing and shipping 6 new product features that utilize AI chatbots to connect individuals to services and resources. • Led a team of 4 to create the package, instruction, and conversation design of self-test kits for 80,000+ at-risk individuals. • Reduced user downtime in the Concierge team’s internal dashboard by 33% by enhancing the efficiency of daily task experiences. • Conducted user test sessions using Figma prototypes of proposed design solutions and created test scripts to follow with customers. ### Visual Designer @ Corodata Record Management Inc.
