Worked on a team specializing in human-computer interaction, focusing on accessibility and usability of systems for warehouse workers. Wrote code in Java and Kotlin to develop and integrate a proof-of-concept project into team’s existing codebase.
Wrote code for LiDAR units for use on autonomous drones. Used ROS to fuse LiDAR pointcloud data with position and orientation data from the drone to construct aerial maps.
Surveyed museum visitors and analyzed data to assist in the development of new activities. Facilitated learning of engineering and computer science topics to provide a rewarding experience to Museum guests. Mentored high school interns and assisted in training for new staff.
Project title: Deep learning for volume segmentation. Used MATLAB to segment and prepare data for use in machine learning pipeline. The goal of the project is to explore synthetically generating data from CT scans of a heart, optical flow to trace features in 4D, and machine learning to develop an algorithm for fracking the heart in a CT scan.
