Managed development and L3 Production support of Aspen CRM - web-based application for Institutional Client Group.
The application is a "golden source" of clients and prospects related information for Sales and Research
department, totaling over 30 diverse data feeds to the CRM system.
Managed team of 9 members: 8 developers and a business analyst.
Analyzing, establishing, and enforcing a recurring software development life-cycle
fitting for the team and the business goals (5-6 week release cycle, migration to Jira
defect reporting system, effective version control usage).
Major contribution in my current role lies in establishing a repeatable conventional SDLC
cycle matching in speed and agility the current agile approaches, while maintaining high
code quality at delivery and retaining the top notch development talent. Still maintaining
hands-on involvement in critical parts of the development process.
Major milestones were:
2010. Aspen CRM re-built on SmartGWT framework running with
a custom browser based on Gecko engine.
Challenges included:

Fundamental changes in the architecture due to mandated migration to the different framework.

2008. Aspen CRM was re-built on Jetspeed
Portals framework. Challenges included: set time delivery on a raw Jetspeed framework:
Jetspeed couldn't supply required combination of stability and performance "out of the
box". Java, WebLogic 8.1, Tomcat 4.x, Oracle 9.x
2006. Delivered PCCALC - a trade processing module combining inputs
from 6 different source systems into PCR (Production Credits Relationship: sales revenue
and goal calculation tool for salespeople).
