Performed tech lead duties and implemented an in-app next generation image manipulation tool in order to increase the product's NPS score. This involved research into the tech and packages involved, creating the components required in React with heavy modifications of the chosen packages, and advising on an import method into the AngularJS legacy app in order to provide a window for future re-platforming.
Created and drove development of a donation earmarking feature, allowing both charities and donors to be more selective of how funds raised were and are allocated. Tech lead duties involved architecture of the feature and data management across multiple locations of the product as well as development of an algorithm in order to synchronize two soft linked data sources.
Implemented a new organization signup/onboarding flow in order to modernize the front door of the product. This required creating a new subapp in a Lerna based monorepo, and producing multiple adaptive-responsive scenes for new potential inbound clients.
Owned SCRUM duties, specifically running retros, leading to, although subjective, arguably one of the best team cultures in the company in terms of openness and communication. Duties involved facilitation of multiple formats, digging into pain points below the initial surface, and bubbling up issues in a productive manner.
