Growing up in various countries from Singapore then to New York City, I have always been one to embrace change and explore new things. In my college years, I gained experience interning and learning more about the finance industry through classes and internships. Although it was a great learning experience, I wanted to explore more and find something that I would be really passionate about.

In my senior year of college, I created a website with help from a friend who had coding experience and I became really fascinated by how a bunch of text could produce a website. Although it was really simple with pure HTML and CSS, I was really fascinated by it and really wanted to learn myself. When the pandemic hit, I decided to switch and make use of my time as I was juggling classes and code academy pro that they offered for free. I started off learning HTML and CSS before finding the thrill in solving problems on JavaScript which led me to take a leap of faith to continue on this coding journey and investing time, money, and dedication to become a software engineer.
