- Collaborated with the design team to implement the second iteration of Branch's design system, this time following Material Design 3 and using Jetpack Compose

### Software Engineer @ Branch International

- Migrated the Branch app from Dagger-Android to Dagger-Hilt, reducing the DI line count by 20% while maintaining the same functionality and decreasing complexity at the same time.
- Revamped the navigation of the main screen in the Android app, switching from a DrawerView to a BottomNavigationView that helped give more visibility to all of the products Branch has to offer.
- Led the effort to build the first version of Branch's design system using the Views framework and following Material Design 2 guidelines.

- Worked on two Android applications connected to a blockchain. The first a PoS where merchants can accept a wide range of cryptocurrencies. The second a fully fledged wallet to send and receive crytocurrency.
- Improved app architecture using MVVM and the repository pattern, and migrated to Kotlin.
- Integrated 3rd party libraries including Retrofit, Glide, Kotlin Coroutines, RxJava and some

- Reduced app’s APK size by 40% by enabling ProGuard and adding the corresponding rules.
- Reduced network usage of an application connected to a blockchain by more than 90% by changing the communication, using polling instead of subscribing to the broadcast.
