I am looking to combine my passion for sustainability, outdoor, and education with my programming skills set into a full stack software engineering position. ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer @ Best Egg Jan 2023 – Jan 2025 | Remote ● Developed and maintained the flexible rent web application and related back -end microservices and APIs using AWS CloudFormation with Serverless Framework, Lambdas, API Gateway, step functions, SQS, Event Bus. ● Implemented stale accounts syncretization pipeline that automatically identified and closed accounts with 15% delinquency rate for both and incoming and historical accounts (AWS schedule worker, p-queue, Node, JavaScript). ● Delivered an end-to-end re-evaluation pipeline by implementing frontend updates and a new backend service to run the cash flow–based decisioning model, leading to a 50% increase in applicant approval rates |(Python, Vue). ● Built the notification microservice to support multi-entity messaging, for users with HubSpot and Internal SMS gateway with 100% test coverage. ● Initiated and Implemented a critical preventative solution that addressed Lambda timeout problem related to scalability. ● Implemented custom 2FA solution to handle change of address and partners for the users. (AWS IAM, Node, Vue). ● Designed and implemented a data pipeline to automatically generate, store and present customer's monthly statement. (AWS step functions, Dynamo DB, S3). ● Mentored and onboarded new engineers to the team. ### Software Engineer @ Mapbox Jan 2020 – Jan 2022 ● Built key components of the Mapbox Static Image API, a highly available web service that serves dynamically generated map preview images at low latency. ● Built the Static API Playground, a frontend tool enabling customers to visualize API requests and reducing related support ticket volume 70%. Technical work evolved; user research, wire framing, UI built. (Figma, React, JavaScript, Mapbox GLJS). ● Built live SQL dashboards for tracking operational metrics and service availability.
